My last day as a bleached blonde

It was fun, but tomorrow I will go back to my "natural" colour. As nice as it looks, it is falling out in chunks, turns green in the pool and costs me over $100 a month to maintain (I get it done professionally).

How weird it will feel once all the Hindu men in this city stop staring at me (moreso). I can't wait!!!!

Well I was used to it before just because of my neighbourhood (no offense, and not trying to be racist, but East Indian men stare a lot.. I mean, A LOT). So staring was normal. But ever since I've done the whole "Pamela" hair thing, it got really bad.

One time I went to a restaurant and walked up to the door. I could see behind me because of the glass reflection and some old man on the phone looked me up and down. Seriously. And it was creeeeeepy.

Then there was that time the guy followed me in his car. And another followed me down the street when I was meeting a girlfriend.

Yuck.

I hate this city.

I'm assuming you live in Victoria, Miller? If not, (well, even if you do), I think this has been one big misunderstanding. One too many creepy old guys I guess.

I'm not trying to sound racist either (I don't think this conveys it), but I have A LOT of older native women hit on me all the time at work. It creeps the hell out of me. They've started giving me a name in Stoney (the band that resides about 20 minutes away from me), and then they look at me in ...that...way. My hair isn't even blonde :p

Anywho, I don't think it really matters where you live, there will always be creepy, disgusting people. Sure some places have a higher concentration of them, but it's just something you can't escape, unless you move to a Buddhist temple or something.

Heh Heh, I remember when I was in Grade 8. I was in the band, and we went on a band tour to Vancouver. One of our stops was our conductor's mother's retirement home (exhilerating, I know :rolleyes: ). So as is standard in any type of concert, we have all our stuff set up at one end of the room, facing the audience, but their were tables at either end of us for whatever reason. Anyway, I was ALWAYS the last to be set up and ready to go (because I'm laz...), so everyone is at their seats, excpet for me. And I sit right in the middle...so I'm making my way into the middle, but there is an old man sitting at one of these tables (I'm not sure why), and he jumps up and yells "NO! You...sit here!" and he slams his hand on the table. I, along with the rest of the band were rather stunned. I didn't really know how to react, so I just kinda smiled, waved, turned and kept going. Then I hear him say "Ooh, think you're pretty smart, don't ya?" Then he looks at my friend Rory and says "Ooh, a trumpet!" (Rory plays a baritone saxaphone). Now THAT, was a creepy old guy...

I know what you are "suffering" from, I have the same problem girls just keep staring at me when i'm out :D however i like it I have no problems with that :classic2:
