I'm in the market for a digital camera, with the idea of making possibly thousands of images I can use on the Web, with high physical reliability/durability, high quality (within obvious limits), minimal hassle, and a cost of no more than about $400 or $500.
I don't currently have Windows 98 available to me (nor do I expect to in the near future), which as I understand it limits some of my options. I do have a couple of machines with Windows 95 I can use to store and ftp images to the (Unix box) web server.
