Since the english premiere league is starting, might as well start a thread relating to this. So who's gonna be the loser, and winner? My guess: 1st- Liverpool 2nd- Arsenal 3rd- Man Utd

I don't think Liverpool is going to win it this year. My guess:
1) Manchester United
2) Arsenal
3) Liverpool

Yeah, that was a terrible performance. :o
Keep in mind, they also beat Parma and Boca Juniors. :)

Pffft, The win against Parma was useless. I was at that game. Parma just plainly sucks.
Anyway i think Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool.

the only Belgian player in the premier league this season plays for Tottenham, so I think they make a good chance :p

I hope your prediction is accurate Red Guy. Although I don't believe the Man U. loss to the Hungarian team has any bearing on anything (except for the fact that it lets me voice my disdain for the ----ing Manchester United)

Liverpool needs to gel up a bit. But Man U needs a squad reform. But I think Arsenal has the best moves.

Don't ask :o But so far there isn't any dark horses, but the 2 giants? I think Ferdinand will break his leg again, so much for a 30m flop. But it'll be bigger than Veron!

Manchester City is a dark horse for me, they bought Anelka and many other reputable players..
Anelka was a great player until he got to greedy..
But hey he still is, and definetly better than diouf.. :p

Watch out for Liverpool. It always seems like the team that people write off immediately are the teams that come out and prove everyone wrong.

Trust me, i have seen the friendly against chester (conference league!!!), they lost 1-0!!
And against Arsenal, they are horrible in attack, just a useless defence team.
Aston Villa should easily beat them :)

It's early in the year, and it was a friendly. You'll see them in top form soon, I guarantee it.

OK, I've made this very clear time and time again throughout this thread. You cannot predict the success of a team's entire season based on one early season game.
Although, I'd love it very much if Man U. continued to suck so much male genetalia.
Of course you can't mention the sucking of male genetalia and not think about 2 things:
1.GC
2.David Beckham
OK, I'm done :devious2:

We had a newspaper poll, between Michael owen and David Beckham, and david beckham won. You can say he's real popular.

lol but i watched the game did you? Aston Villa had many scoring chances..
De La Cruz was excellent for Villa, yes Risa played well and Murphy was good, but a draw was a more deserving result.

hehe i'm addicted to punting :)
a good website for punters is www.asianbookie.com :)
Also i'm on Chelsea to beat Man UTD Medium stakes.
I'm thinking about the asian handicap, but it depends on what lines they have to offer.

I haven't seen the word LEEDS mentioned too often in this thread.
So I've written it real big. Just so you remember my post after they win the league this season. It's all about scoring goals, and Leeds have the best attacking squad in the Premiership.
They're not too bad in all the other areas of the pitch either...
And no, I'm not just saying this cause they won their first couple of games. Though if they had lost them I would be seriously worried!
Enjoy the season, best wishes,
Polestar.

I don't think Leeds has a legitimate shot to win, but they could definitely be a darkhorse team.
It was like the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team over here. Except I ----ing hate them.

Leeds are exceptionally well pre-season to winter break, but after that they falter. as usual.
