Try FreeDrive.com and XDrive.com, both of which offer free file storing space. I'm not sure, but I think FreeDrive's limit is 100MB, but if you need more room, register for another account or go with XDrive.

I'm not sure if FreeDrive or XDrive offer FTP. You'll have to check.

XDrive has that thing where you can mount your drive as a drive letter on Windows to copy files through explorer, but you only get 50MB (or register multiple accounts)

damn... do any other places have this thing that lets you upload with out using your browser? this is good but it is going to be hard to upload 25 megs, make a new account, over and over and over

http://www.livin4.com has FTP and 50megs. It's a file storage place and the files can be reached via web browser too. About 4 of those accounts would work.

You could RAR then and use tripod. FXP the files to other tripod accounts for backup...

Actually, if I were you, I wouldn't rely on livin4 being speedy. Hopefully, they may have upgraded their servers. Then again, they may have not.

how about myspace.com.
I think they offer 300Mb of space.

Hey, just a question, do they allow you to have more than one account? I mean, like Xdrive, myspace etc.

I don't think they allow it. But if you use a different email address, they accept you anyway.

damn, these file storage places are no good, either browser uploads or not enough space or slow... livin4 is only going 2 kb per second... it took three days for my username and password to work... oh well guess i'll just keep it on my comp till i come across somthing...

I´m searching for the same thing and I´ve found an amazing fast storage place here in germany ;)
You can store as much as you want but only via browser uploads, unfortunately. But it´s fast and reliable!

Use Babelfish (on Altavista.Com) if you have problems translating it.
