REQ: Sponsor needed

Hi,
I need a sponsor for my gaming server, (Counter-Strike)
If you host my server your text will be in it every 10 minutes(Big font) and +/- 10 seconds at connect window,
and they see you/your companys name in server list.
(so even if they don't connect they see it!)
This way is the most easy way to promote you or your company!

Here is what I need:
- Server with a fast connection(High upload) and
with a +/- 500 mhz CPU or more and 128 MB Ram
- Port 27015 has to be open
- FTP and Shell
- Linux, dont matter what distr.

I am running the server now on my own computer and its always full, So enough people will see your commercial text
but I have a low upload so its very slow, too slow...
(Dutch cable ISP arent very fast)

Dude, no one is going to donate their computer, connection, and bandwidth for free. :rolleyes:

Your best bet is going with someone like www.recongamer.com

hey i'll host ya,
you will get ftp, but no shell, and you have no control over the config of the server, you will get rcon. And my sponsor will be on the server, everywhere, you will not be allow to put your own clan tag on the server. So basiclly you will be the admin of the server

That basicly defeats the purpose of a clan server.

I am on a Dutch cable ISP as well ... you know why they are slow? Because some people think they can run game servers on it allthough it's not allowed :mad: ... Get yourself a dedicated server and use your cable ISP for what you should do with it (surfing the net, e-mail, downloads). Some people actually think they can run their own high traffic websites, gameservers, etc ... with their ISP account :mad:

By the way ... do you actually think someone will sponsor you for what you have to offer? Hmmm, sounds awfully Dutch ;)

Oh, just to set the record straight ... Dutch Cable ISP's are not necessarily slow ... depends on what you do with it ... they are just not made for what you want to do with it. I don't have any complaints whatsoever

You are right, but I am not the first who complain about my ISP
(Chello, and yes I know they dont allow servers ;) )
Dutch ISP: 47E for +/- 180 Down 14 UP

But if there many people on the server they see someone's commercial text many times!

BTW, I am still looking for a sponsor, Johnny doesnt respond :(
