http://www.000domains.com
They accept Checks/Money Orders and their office is relatively "local" to me.
I believe the price is $13.50 for all forms of payment.
Nice Folks :)

That's hardly under $10 Matt.
Acez, there can be no guarantee that if you did find a money order domain for under $10 that the registrar would verify the domain in 4-5 as it takes time for mail to reach its destination, be processed by the staff etc.

I bet the temp is the same here as in Arkansas ;)
And I agree, about the price, I did a bit of a search before for money order domains, but didn't find any under $10.

You should be able to order a domain using a money order in the time it takes for the money order to arrive at the registrar. Since money orders don't need to clear the bank like personal checks, the registrar can process the order immediately.
How long does it take postal mail to get to your destination? It depends on where you and he are located.
Can you find one for under $10? We wouldn't do it for that, but I'm sure you can find one if you look hard enough. Remember that when you ask a registrar to manually intervene in the process, that costs him labor. When you do everything yourself online with a credit card, the labor costs are minimized. If anyone is actually registering domains as a serious business, they cannot afford to commit to labor based registrations (checks, money orders, POs etc) for peanuts.

000.domains.com (in Arkansas) Processes your order as soon as they get the money order. I sent them a money order on a Monday from Canada, regular mail, and they registered my domain on the Friday.
