I need your HELP! badly!!!
I want to create a data base, and I have no idea where to begin! I downloaed MySQL 3.23, I have perl, php, cgi, sql abilities on my webspace. Now, what do I do?
I want to create a data base of users(visitors) where they can enter the information...Name, User Id, email, address, phone and etc...
I would like other visitors to be able to search by certain criteria to find certain users. If the people who have joined up, and set red as their favourite colour and they live in ny...when a visitor comes and searches for someone from NY, and has a fav color of red, he'd find this specific visitor or a list of visitors that fit the criteria.
I also want to create an area where only members can go. Basically see details of users that are private and only signed up members can view by entering their own User Id and password...
All Suggestions are welcome...NO matter how minor!
