Of you were signing up for free hosting, would having a .cc in your subdomain bother you so much you wouldn't use the service?

Nope. I would think it was kida cool. It would turn me off if the host sucked, though

nah. a .cc domain is tight. there should be more hosts with uncommon domain endings.

why .cc?
i think a .com is a lot better.
anyways that doesn't count as long as the host is good.

I agree, I'd much rather have a dot com, however all the good hosting ones are taken. Trust me, I must have spent a total of 10 hours looking just this week. The first .cc I type in is avilable, so it looks like that's where I'm headed.

Personally it doesn't matter. .cc is one less letter o type than .com
