Cgi And Tripod

Is it possible to get any GOOD cgi message boards to work in Tripods cgi-bin?
I cant seem to do it...

which scripts have you tried so far? i know a couple of scripts... the best one is ubb (note it's not free).

I have not got any message board to work on tripod.
is there any cgi that will work on tripod? you can
not chomod, and I beleave its set to 755 or 777 any
cgi uploaded????

I've tried UBB and about 8 different scripts I found on cgi-resources.com.

what about voting booths, calendars, and link indexing scripts? have you or anyone else tryed using these..
and got them working at tripod??

I tried a neverending story script. It did not work. Big suprise. We should all get together and send Tripod email telling them about this problem and maybe they will fix it....

I tryed lots of diffent scripts, one of the easyest
and most simplest, Matt-Wrights board, and a few others
he offers, I could not get any of them working..
there cgi-bin is not any good if it only works for there
cgi stuff, they could offer theres without a cgi-bin.

I see in the tripod-editor, they offer a board, but
I could not even get it working last night. the link
it made for me to place online, points me to there
front page, not a sub-board it clam to make.. but
its a free place, cant get everthing.. basics
are as long as its free, and I can move that banner into
my design then im ok with that for awhile. :o)

That's not true, almost nothing works in their CGI-BIN

The ''cgi-bin'' feature is to get more members
