PHP Info/Help Needed

What's extactly is the difference between php and php4u?

I've been trying to install a new portal system on tripod uk for the longest of time and can't get anything to work right. I'm real new to php and mysql. Am I just doing everything wrong or what?

Also, if anyone wouldn't mind letting me contact them for help or hell bored enough to just set it up for me it would be geratly appreciated.

i'm not a tripod user, but aftre a little research it looks like 'php4u' is just the name of tripod's php services.

well I tried installing phpwebsite and not a damn thing work. Nothing. Went to PHP Nuke works like a charm. I just like the latout and look better then phpnuke. So my guess was it had to the php4u.
