I'm using it. It's cheap, and healthier than GSM. Nice stuff...

I have a cell phone and still don't know what you're talking about... but then, I'm one of the odd-balls that uses it for its phone-aspect alone, I wouldn't know much else about it. :D

First time I've heard of PHS so thanks for posting!

GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) for those who may not follow this stuff:

PHS is this Japanese mobile communication system that has a very low frequency (uh, I'm not sure what to call that actually... I don't think "frequency" is the right word for that, but... anyway, it means a low level of electromagnet, something that is believed to cause cancer) and has high transmitting speeds.

I'm afraid that's all I can explain. :o

I guess you can call that radiation, but I don't think it's quite the same thing.....? Maybe it is, I dunno. :(
