MX records has to do with the domain, rather than the host. Any registrar that gives you access to them, or will change them for you, can use Everyone.net.

bingo. just get a domain with their nameservers/ip addresses and create an account with MyDOMAIN. then change the service level to MyDNS and you can change the MX records.

http://www.portland.co.uk has all that and lets you edit mx records, but they are slow and have a 100mb bandwidth limit.

gcsnet.net?

They have a popbehind that loads once every 72 hours :). I know you said preferably no ads, but these are unintrusive.

Oh btw, I dont know if its me but Portland seems faster now?

I know its always faster near the end of each month because most ppl reach the 100mb limit but generally they seem faster :)
