I just have a quick question...How am I supposed to use those "Advanced Search" functions in the vBulletin search function? I've tried typing in AND, OR, and NOT, yet it doesn't work. For example, if I typed in "games NOT Mario", the search engine will still search for "games" and "Mario", despite the fact that I stuck the word "NOT" in there. Any suggestions?

I can't be bothered to test it on here now, but I think I've used the + or - tags to good effect on forums before.

+ and - is for search engines. in this forum, you get no result if you use +/-

well that's interesting. I just went and tested it, and + and - make no difference, it just searches for everything, NOT searchterm makes no differnce, it just searches for it, and NOTsearchterm seems to get no answers. so I dunno.
