Over thanksgving weekend (the canadian one) I am in charge of the music at a local motorcyle race. I need 6 or so hours of music, and I dont know where to start.

Basically what I need is what an average slightly redneck male would like to listen to, in terms of rock music from the 70's till now. I know I can't go wrong with AC/DC, and maybe some aerosmith and maybe some pink floyd. But beyont that I dont know.

Any suggestions? What kind of music do you like, Webdude? :D

It shouldn't be too hard, and it shouldn't be too soft.

The following list contains horrible music that nobody should listen to.

Steve Earl (copperhead road)
Kansas (carry on my wayward son)
Whitesnake (whatever song that they sing)
Scorpions (same as above)
Skid Row (18 and life, youth gone wild... whatever)
Limp Bizkit (anything from their second CD)
Kid Rock (anything, it's all crap)

Some of that was perfect. Almost too perfect. I'll ask some of my friends in welding and heavy duty mechanics. no doubt they'll be able to offer some good suggestions

Bryan Adams - Summer of 69'
Bon Jovi - (Wanted) Dead Or Alive
Def Leppard - Photograph
Tom Petty - Refugee
James Gang - Walk Away

They arent realy rednecks. Just your average joe with at most a highschool education who likes to drink beer, bull----, and go hunting. The kinda guys who consider themselves really manly.
