View Full Version : Girls like Bad boys?

There's a chinese saying that goes "Nan ren bu huai, niu ren bu ai". Meaning girls love bad boys. Is it true in real life? For me it's really like the idiom, the girls show interest in bad boys and infamous ones, ignoring those good ones who hide behind books.

But aren't good boys meant for girls? (at least in novels)

Then what about the good guys who either

1) Don't hide behind books, but rather hang out with those cool dudes;

2) Interact with the girls and become an idolised figure

Hello,

Abit of both is best :p

And those who fall for "bad boys" usually end up poor.

Are you implying that females aren't self-sufficient? :p

Hmm it's true to an extent. But the novelty wears off and most girls grow up... some never do (see: maury povich's paternity talk shows)

For me it's really like the idiom, the girls show interest in bad boys and infamous ones, ignoring those good ones who hide behind books. It's basically true, I think. Nobody really likes the goody-good-shoes... at least I don't.

If you don't stand out in a crowd, you don't stand a chance. Usually, those who lay low and act all quiet and stuff are those who are ignored by girls.

At least that's how it generally is here. ;) Of course there are exceptions...

Well, usually a bad husband will drag a wife down with him. Females are capable of being self-sufficient , but the smart ones usually don't like the "bad boys" cause there smart enough to look after their future.

usually, those girls who like bad boys are bad themselves. Personally, I will put "education level' before everything when I choose a wife.

The girls here go for the guys with an attitute, and most importantly the one who's most able to flirt.

girls go for bad boys as much as boys go for bad girls.

i think anyways.

Most girls I seen try to impress the outstanding boys with un lets say interesting ways. My self I am quite, but with my hight I do get girls flirting, so it depends on the girl.

I read this arcitle in Newsweek about girls in generl (an no it had nothing to do with them being smart than us boys). It talk about alpha, beta and gama girls. It was quit interesting. The aplha girls are the ones that must be popluar all the time. The beta ones try to either be the alpha ones or are the followers. Gama ones don't care if they are popluar are not.

Some times girls can be so hard to understand.

Also, you can never win an arguement with a girl. So damn frustrating when your right..:angry2:

And, yes, the start of Romeo Must Die was AWESOME!!! I could watch that over and over and over and over and over and over and you get the idea.. It was soooooo good..

It might appear to you young bucks at the moment that it is correct, but once you gain a bit more condidence in yourself, the girls will notice the good guys too. As LeX said, they tend to go for the boys more outgoing (in your opinion, the bad boys), but that will all change as you mature, then the bad boys are on the outer! :classic2:

Let's face it: Would you ask an ugly but kind girl out? No! That's why men are liars when they say personality's the first.

Now I would do just that. I hate pretty girls, as 99% of the time, they are sluts. All the girls in my school like the "cool" guys. They don't like people like me, with good grades and a calm personality, but rather those guys who hang out with the "group" and listen to supposedly "cool" music. None of these people in our school can get even decent grades. :confused2
