I'm looking for ad free web space. I don't care about the amount of web space as long as it's over 5mb.

Well, I'd have to recommend my own site's list of free hosting without ads, at http://www.freeresources.f2s.com/hosting.html . There are about a dozen or so listed there.

Hoth, I see you listed Freedom 2 Surf as "very fast". I think you have low expectations ;)

It always has been for me. I've heard people say it's slow a few times now, though. Is it different if you end up on a different one of their servers (they've mentioned they have some people on "experimental servers"), or is it really slow for me also and I just can't tell?

Actually, mostly I hear that the CGI and SQL are slow (and I haven't used those)... is the load time of pages slow to anyone?

Well... If you are on one of the early servers and live in the U.K. I would be fast for you.

I'm in California, quite a ways from the U.K. I probably am on one of their early servers, though, since I've been using F2S for about a year.

Maybe I should just update it to say "very fast if they happen to like you, or slow if they don't particularly like you". ;)
