is a basic hosting service (maybe 10 megs of space), that is reliable and cheap. I'd like to pay less than $20 a year, if it all possible. Any ideas? Thanks!

Credit card processing fees (for the host) are about that much. If you take reliability out of the picture (just being honest since you really have to question whether this is enough to ensure this feature), then try:

$5/yr - http://www.nalhaz.com/index2.html (WebHostingTalk.com member)

$12/yr - http://www.1dollarhosting.com - 'unlimited bandwidth' all for $1/mo

Anywhoooo, I can NOT vouch for these companies, haven't used either, but offer them just as suggestions since they answer the question. Please realize this.

Just be warned though, 1dollarhosting charges a 'One Time Membership Fee' of $49.

I recommend Worldzone - although it is a free webspace provider, it now offers the option to remove all ads for $12 a year.

Here is another option for a little more than your $20... It is very very fast, extreamly reliable and only $35 per year for 50megs, 1gb transfer. I was with them and it was great but I grew out of the transfer rate. http://www.coastlandtech.com/

If your going to pay $35 for 50MB and 1Gig transfer, you may aswell go to http://www.worldzonepro.net and pay the extra dollar for 100MB (150MB MAX) space, 10Gig of transfer a month (I THINK that's right) plus heaps of other stuff. And the best thing is wicked support...
Of course their having a little bit of downtime at the moment, but it seems to be getting a lot better. Their also moving to new servers soon, and I've heard it's going to be a lot more reliable and there might be a few new extras (WebDude might need to correct me on that one).

P.S. It's 3AM here, so this post probably won't make much sense.

Actually that's 3GB a month, not 10GB :) Currently its not having any downtime - that was a few days ago, and the problem causing it has been resolved.

Thanks a lot for all the ideas guys; I think I've decided to go with dim8.net. They sound good, and all the people I've talked to about them agree. Thanks for the help! :)
