thewitt has been lurking around these forums for a while, he is obiously very knowledgable in the area of domain and is a very mature person. I know this is probably the wrong way to do it but what the heck.

Thanks for the vote of confidence MindRash.

How does that saying go again? If nominated I would not run. If elected I would not serve. :D

As a professional in the domain industry, I enjoy coming in here and helping people out with their domain related problems. There is a huge amount of bad advice out there, and I hear from people on our helpdesk system every day who have made poor choices and are desperate to recover from them.

By spending a few minutes a day on the active discussion forums sharing what I can, I hope to keep some people from making mistakes that will haunt them later.

As a moderator, I don't think I would feel as free to espress myself on the forums. I also think the existing moderators here do a bang-up job as well :).
