if you're not generating enough unique hits a day, you can't qualify to get the:

1. CGI/PHP/MySQL support
2. 100 MB
3. BASH shell
4. FTP Account
etc...

oh and take a look at this:

After our popup loads once your site is ad-free...

that ONE ad will make gcsnet.net a site with ads. it's not ad-free until after that popup.

You can't complain look at what they give you :)

I just hope they survive!

I don't mind banners/popups and anything else they throw my way because all those features it's worth it.

psxonline, you see, banners are the only way a host can get money to host you for free. If a host doesn't have banners, they are running on empty and become slow. If you want a fast server, you must find one that has banners.

that's true. the only problem is the way they display their banners. if it were just a banner, that would be swell, but if it was an ugly looking piece of crap like prohosting's or a pop-up like hypermart, then i would have a problem.

I'm alright with banners, i just hope they survive. The only thing is getting visitors to actually click on them.

Oh man, you two are crazy! What's the point of building a website if all of your site's traffic is just going to go to advertisers? You'll never see me encouraging my site's visitors to click on the advertisement in Nbci's adframe!
