Alright guys, here's my site so far: http://www.mikhailtech.com.
And here is the new layout in the works: http://www.mikhailtech.com/test01.shtml.

Now I have several questions. First, some suggestions/feedback about the logo. I plan on putting the letters "MKT" on the side of the case (seen in the logo), but I'm still new with Photoshop/ImageReady, so how can I do that to make it go in perspective with the side of the case? Oh, and any/all other effects ideas would be much appreciated.

Next up, several sites have a "users online" scripts, which shows everyone at the site how many people are currently there. Is this Java? And if so, what's the code for it?

Also, some other stuff: What's the Java script code for a "make homepage" and "add to favorites" thingies? Oh, and what about a search engine for a site? Oh, and we DO have CGI support and Perl, so that's not a problem....

Hmm... I belive this thread belongs in the Web Design and Development section instead of the Free Webspace forum.

Hmmmm, well, whatever. Looks like no help in either place, so I'll just give up and ask somewhere else....

That's cool ill help ya out since i have the same problem and im 17 years old too heh.
Well, your logo's dont seem to match the background color. Using Adobe Photoshop? Cause I have the same problem, but I dont know if there's a way to fix it.
Otherwise everything looks A ok.
HAve you tried aligning the left menu links to the left? Might look better.
Check out http://www.ultrapcgamers.net
IF you look at the left menu, you can see my amazing HTML skills. Its all HTML not an image. (it was an accident doing it but it's darn sweet)
logo's are pretty good too.
Thats all i can think of..

I've heard some people complaining about this. Yes, I'm using Photoshop. From what I've heard, PH compresses images and so the background color isn't the same. However, I don't see this as a major problem, because of the 20 or so computers I've tried this on, it only looks a bit off on 1 or 2. Any suggestions about the other stuff I mentioned? As for the buttons on that site, you've seen the ones we have on the new layout right? They're not buttons either, just "mouseover" HTML code....
