I have always thourht that cjb is a good, free no-ad service. When I started to register my account I read their Terms:
"In the event that you, or a third party acting on your behalf, engages in any conduct or activities that -------- in its sole discretion believes violates any of the terms and conditions in this agreement, you agree to pay -------- US$500.00 to cover --------'s administrative and cleanup costs associated with your activity, or --------'s actual damages, whichever is greater /---/In the event of subsequent violations, you agree to pay -------- US$5,000.00 to cover --------'s administrative and cleanup costs associated with your activity, /---/"
To pay $500, $5000?! In -------- sole discretion? If they decide that using blue background is illegal I must pay $500?
I know that they haven't probably I asked this sum from anyone. And will probably never ask. They just want to protect themselves against claims. But I will not sign sth like this.
