Does the spaceports cgi server (cgi-bin.spaceports.com) have perl 5 installed on it. If not can you tell me a free server that does?

I doubt they would not have perl 5. It's not like it's that hard to update and install.

I don't know if spaceports has perl 5 or not but freedom2surf does.
