A question about fwp's----

I'm getting curious as to future of fwp's.There must be somebody here thats in the fwp business?



It seems in my observations the whole freebie internet is collapsing as of 1/01 and onward.(remember who said he gave you the internet and could take it way also?) From photo storage to file storage places. It would seem by stories even Tripod deleting sites on a massive scale.(they give no excuses..site is just gone.Some they say its tos violations but people vouch NO)


I still see many many fwp's still operating.



Question...can fwp's survive now just on ad money? Can we expect all fwp's to be gone? Maybe some balance the books of the free sites with the paid hosting but with the concept of free seeming to be disappearing why offer free? Just to be nice people?




hey...thats what made the internet so fun?? With EVERYTHING costing money I'd bet many many figure out maybe they have better things to do in life? Next even the search engines non-freebies? (northern light?)



It would seem if fwp's could balance the books with ads maybe such will continue but?

There was a time when the internet consisted of more than porn and warez. More people on the net, more FWPs, smarter warez donkeyholes, and less banner clicks (combined) make it less profitable than it once was.
