Seems like they've got a file rating system and your level of activity. They prioritise things now, is there a way to get past this? I use Kazaa Lite.

download kazaa
download the dummy adware files, then replace them in kazaa

You can't be too sure...try decompiling it to see what exactly is going on.

Can you decompile it into any language? Or does it have to be the language it was written in?

Usually, it's the one it's written in.

I like priority queuing...

I think I'm missing something here...
What's this whole priority thing about and why don't I see any mention of it when I'm using KaZaA (Lite)??
Also, what's this about queing? I've never had to que for a file before...

Ok... There is a Kazaa Lite version 2.0. I'm using it right now.
The participation level system and integrity ratings are exclusive to version 2.0.
Also, the participation level works like this. Whenever you upload, your level rises. Whenever you download your level drops. Queuing for the downloading of files is based upon your level, so therefore a person at level 200 will be closer to front in line than another person at level 30. That means the level 200 person will get their download sooner.

So should I upgrade or not... are there any major benefits?
I'm currently using KaZaA Lite 1.6.9...

Well... Everyone using version 1.x of Kazaa gets a participation level of 0... But if you're a person who doesn't upload, it goes down there in a little while anyways.
I guess the integrity rating would be useful to see which files are good... But not many files are rated right now.

Don't upgrade. That's the best thing, unless they treat those with lower versions like they do to low participation levels.
