HEY HEY HEY

I have a problem!
Look here!!

How do I change the text background of the icons to transparent?
I am using WinME...

I know WinXP can do that and because I've tried... I didn't even have to alter stuff in the control panel.

Thank you! :)

I don't think you can in any other OS other than WinXP. You need to use a program like: http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-2347-4572925.html?tag=lst-0-1

I'm not sure if that's the program, but there was this one that was very annoying by being in your taskbar if you ever wanted the icon text to be transparent. This of course, was very stupid, as I'd rather have a slightly worse looking desktop than some ugly thing in my taskbar. Of course, if this is not the one, ignore my comment.

Yupapa, try changing the colour of your Desktop in the Appearance section of Display Properties to black, it'll blend in better than a blue.
