Hey guys, I run serveral bulletin boards and some of my clients have said that they consider "YaBB is better for larger communities and proven to be stable".

Now i m saying that phpBB is better than YaBB.

And i know vbb is better than all of them but out of those two free ones which is better

YaBB or phpBB?

phpBB and InvisionBoard are far better than YaBB SE or YaPP CMS(and they look better too!).

Ok, nevermind.
It's just that you seemed to act like this person with the exact same username as you.

phpbb's official coomunity has 240,000 posts and is still running fine, who says it isn't meant for large communities?

There's a VB Board with over 5 million posts and still running fine.

But it's not using MySQL though.

I would agree that phpBB just seems better for smaller communities. I don't know why; I have seen large phpBB communities, but it just doesn't look quite right. YaBB SE and Invisionboard are pretty good for a large community.

asking around in their official forums would be better

vBulletin is the best for large communities, but InvisionBoard's fine for medium sized ones.
