Nope, unless you got access to computer that controls traffic, you won't be able to do anything. Unless, you decompile MSN, and change the port that it uses.

Hey Daniel.

I tried to do something, but I cant find the problem.

MSN's port is 1863.
I tried to check in the net settings/network/proxy, and cant find any way that our teacher could have changed it. Is there a way to check what ports are blocked?

I don't know if its the port for sure.
We HAVE to connect thruh the net using this proxy:
proxy.csdm.qc.ca : 80

I checked in the msn connection tab, and the proxy wasnt there.
I THINK it's this, BUT, im not able to connect even if I enter this proxy either in socks4 or socks5 mode.

Do you know what ca I do?

Wojtek, did it ever occur to you that the teacher did that for a reason? You are there to learn, not chat with your friends. I am sure you can wait until you get home to chat with your friends?

Or have you still not got your laptop from when your parents confiscated it because you spend too much time on the net? :p

really Jan, i get away with anything in IT.
Because messenger's blocked in our school we use net meeting and post our IP on my mates website so we can talk over school's lan.

You can see if it's installed on your network (c:\ programs files\netmeeting), run it and in the windows folder run Winipcfg.exe and share your IP address with your mates.

Problem is i finished all the work she planned for the 1st semester in 2 weeks... It's sooooo primitive. She's still showing to other people how to do a message box... omg..........

And msn is the only thing to do there...

I hope they don't work that out at my school, they just go around and try and uninstall MSN but we go and install it again. I have the .exe file in my personal folder.
