http://www.yoursighost.com ---> 404
http://www.come2store.com ---> Uploads closed, downloads almost down, support down ---> on the verge of 404
http://www.streamloader.com ---> bull----
http://briefcase.yahoo.com ---> no public sharing anymore
many many others ---> 404
The usual problem: File storage services have a limited life expectancy. I know the reply is probably "no", but does anyone know a host who allows downloads like e.g. 3-10 MB videos? *sigh*
Thanks

http://www.come2store.com still allows uplaods on server 2, server 1 is closed, server 3 is going to be online oct 27
http://www.streamload.com unlimited space, no file size limit, no public space though
you can just as easily host your files on any other site like asepidemik said, http://www.tripod.co.uk (50mb space, no file size limit, unmetered bw) or http://www.250free.com (250mb space, ftp, no file size limit when using ftp, must have some kind of site, 500mb bw a month)

I wouldn't trust tripod.co.uk with large files. Even though they state no file size limit, if you store large files, their "unmetered" bandwidth/transfer probably won't apply to you and they'll shut your site down if your large files generate too much traffic.

Not necessarily. Some people in this board claim they've been able to get data transfer in excess of 12 gb/month out of Tripod UK. However, if out of that 12 gb, 11 gb was from big file downloads, then they'd probably terminate your account.
