Hi,

Ok look I want to make a banner for a soccerteam but i've got a problem.I want to put a picture of the trainer in this banner and a picture of a player, now the problem is that these 2 pictures have different backgrounds, how can I remove this backgrounds quickly (with paint shop it takes too much time),so that they have the same , for exemple yellow background?

Here's the picture of the player:

So everything else then the player on the foreground has to go.

I believe the only way is to do it manually.

How will the program know which parts of the image you want to be cut out? The program only understands pixels and colors. :biggrin2:

Well if the user sets "remove green" it should do that.

If you have PhotoDelux you could use the color wand to select the green and eliminate that. There will be several shades of green, but it should speed things up.
Then instead of a monochrome bg for the finished pic you could tile the crowd background. Depending on the size of the finished image, the seams between the background should not be noticable. Our minds say "Oh a crowd" and stop looking.

Unfortunately I don't have PhotoDelux, but I'll try to get it

Hmmm... You can try using the "Magic Eraser Tool." Whenever you click on something, the whole area with similar colors will be transparent. It helps a bit, if not much. :)

Make sure you have Anti-aliased ticked, too.
