Domain??? but why?

tell me what u think but everyone wants a domain name right??? But how many are willing to pay for it? I am if i thiught it was a very important thing, but many posts in this forum are about "i need free domain" and so on... If u want a domain so: pay for it!!! And if u can't spare a copper so: u can make good sites without a domain!

Here's an explanation:

Imagine that you are choosing between thousands of cars. There are the Hondas, Porches, Mitsubishis, Subarus, Nissans, etc. These cars are of course priced differently. Then came an agent who asks you if you want to acquire the brand new 1960 Corolla which wasnt of much value but still runs. All expenses paid. Gas, maintenance, etc. would be shouldered by the company. All you have to do is drive it everyday for at least an hour. And another thing, the rear of the car has a large advertising sign of the company.

Would you accept it?

i believe that's already become an advertising business. and yes, there are people stupid enough to do it, just like there are people stupid enough to get a domain with a huge banner frame at the bottom, because no one can tell me that they're on the internet, yet can't afford an extra $10/yr for a domain.
