How do I check which server is down

I have 2 com.kg-domains, hosted with mydomain and a redirection to 2 different FWPs. Both domains worked already. Now 1 domain is "down", but the direct url of the FWP works. So it could not be the FWP. But could it be mydomain, since the 2nd domain works with mydomain? How can I check if the kg server cannot resolve the domain? I tried ping and nslookup with my local acoount and a remote shell account. The domain doesn't work, but it is shown active with whois from domain.kg. What could be the problem?

im having the same problem with my .com.kg domains.. it worked find and now kaput.. I wonder whats up?

I emailed mydomain and they wrote:

Error: [com.kg] Not a Valid Domain Extension

I mailed them again and told them that my other kg work. Lets see what happens

Strange thing, I read the mail from mydomain only but did not check my not-working-kg-domain. It works again.

The last time I tried to bulk add .*.kg domains to mydomain, it gave me this error page.

But all my supposedly working domains are working just fine.
