Auto Insert Notif. Can't open drive...

I have a HP dvd200i DVD Burner, and sometimes (most of the time actually) I can't open the drive... and it all started when i disabled Auto Insert Notification for a CD Burning app. How do i fix this in XP Home ?

Still wont open even tho i have activated it again, its like a program takes hostage of it..

[It's either CD Mate or VMWare Workstation]

try reinstalling the drivers for it and if it dont work right, then uninstall those 2 progs and install them 1 by 1 to see which one causes the prob...
