These people are frauds, infact if anyone knows a place that I can report them tell me. They still owe me $211.20US. They have not paid one cent. I am now taking legal action :). Maybe this will spell the end of cheating ad compaines!

BTW if you have been paid by them tell me ;)

Lynks, I don't intend to demean you, but you're going to take legal action over a $200 check? Sounds like overkill to me. A decent lawyer will charge at least that for one or two billable hours.

Your best bet is to file an official complaint with BBB, as b suggested, or to simply notify the firm that you will be commissioning a debt collection firm. Unless your payment is being withheld due to your breaching the terms and services, this should be enough to stimulate payment.

If, however, you're 100% committed to legal action, try contacting other affiliates of the firm. If enough have had payments withheld, you could consider launching a class action suit.

Yeah and it would have been difficult for me, but I have some contacts in the US. I am in Australia, and I read somewhere that you are to, who do you use to host your website (s)

Most of my sites are hosted by US-based companies (such as OLM.net, Addr, Virtualis, HostRocket, Web2010).

The two sites that I do have hosted within Australia are hosted by CyberWorks (http://www.cyberhost.com.au/) and OntheNet (http://www.onthenet.com.au).

Unfortunately, my experience with Aussie hosts, by and large, has been less than pleasing. I've developed sites for clients who were hosted by Connect.com.au (an AAPT company) and Telstra BigPond, both of which were terrible experiences. Gold Coast-based OntheNet, though, have been great. This just goes to prove that bigger isn't always better...

Whats a good dialup ISP offering everything unlimited, apart from Dingoblue who are now limiting downloads to 1.5gigs per month?

Willing to pay $50 per month?

Any

Thanks

Valuablehost, I've also used WebCentral in the past - but found their prices to be ridiculously expensive. Are you happy there?

Lynks, I use OptusNet for dialup, on an almost-unlimited plan (220 hours/month, unlimited downloads), for $45. There are plenty of unlimited plans still out there, but most include clauses that state they can disconnect you after 2, 3 or 4 hours of activity.

If you can I'd strongly reccomend fixed line solutions, if you make a little bit of money online it will pay itself of and be worth everything!

And Telstra is busy ADSL'ing the country although it's not that fast. :(
