I am looking for any form of sponsor, preferable CPM banners, but also any good programs that pay per referral. My site is www.readmyrants.com, and as you can tell it is a little hard to find someone who will sponsor content such as mine (which could be easily classified as offensive).

Anyone know one that would take a site like mine??

I give you little chance on finding one. Most services are likely to refuse you or kick you out. You can also ask yourself, is it worth to put banner ads or pop-ups on your site? How many visitors do you have per day or week? I assume it is not very much as it is more a personal website. With pop-ups you can generate 2-5$ per 1000 unique visitors, with banners even less.

I am still building up traffic, I am up to about 50 uniques a day. Though the site just started about a week or two ago, and I just began trying to build traffic to it a few days ago. Websites like mine can get a lot of hits, there is one site called the "Best Page In the Universe" that gets thousands a day.

I am sure you can get a lot of traffic with such a site. Some tips though:

- try to beautify your design (maybe add little extra's too like newsletter, etc)
- use language, appropriate for all ages. I understand you can express yourself using certain words, ad companies don't like it though and will refuse your site for it!

Goodluck!

It may make the companies not accept you, but the use of language is what I find most ****ing amusing ;) If you get rid of the language, I don't think I'd like it as much...

hehe Thanks Kaliber :D

I am considering signing up for some affiliate programs or just selling the space directly once my site gets popular enough.
