After building my friend's dually Athlon MP 1800+, and damn it's quite damn impressive. I was able to run 2 instances of HLDS with about 12 people connected(100mbit switch, the whole apartment lan building), surf the net, copy files from other computers, run winamp, and running prime 95 to test system stability. Too bad I don't have that system anymore. :(

Anyone else have any experiences with SMP machines?

I used to utilise a 4-way SMP machine with Intel Coppermine CPU at 800Mhz when I'm in university, and I must say it was pretty cool. I rather have 4 different computers though.

SMP + multi monitors + 1gb ram = multitasking made easy
