Nonpublic mailinglist

I would like to setup a *nonpublic* malinglist for about 50 friends and have no idea which service to use.

Your best bet for private is to make your own on a HyperMart/VirtualAve account (email them first cause they consider lists SPAM until they review them. and until the remove them all your CGI scripts will be disabled).

50 friends eh? Well, you could just type in all the email addresses once, then use IE 5's autocomplete to fill in all the addresses. If not you could just set up a simple mailing list script, and not link to it from any other page, then get them (or do it yourself) to enter their email address into the list(send them the link). Not that hard, if what I said made any sense.

I cancelled my account at virutalave, since I am not shure that my *private* page won't be deleted by them. So I don't believe they allow me a private list, when I make a page with them and ask for a list.
