I got an e-mail from popinads.com:

--------------------------------------------------
I would like to advertise on your site in the form of general-audience popin ads.
Would you consider selling your inventory to us at the rate of US$2.00/CPM (per 1,000 raw impressions)?
Furthermore, when you refer other webmasters to join this program, I will also pay you up to 20% of
whatever they earn, and those referrals will run 5 levels deep!

As well as being known for some of the most generous rates in the industry,
other benefits we can offer are online real time stats and a fortnightly payment schedule
(the 1st and 15th of the month for the previous month). And Payments can be made either by check
or instantly through PayPal in which your earnings exceed $50.00.
--------------------------------------------------------

I can't find any information of this company here.
Do they pay? Does anyone have experience with them?

thank you.:cool2:

These two threads hold some discussion about them. You would need to decide if your site viewers find this type of afvertising intrusive. I doubt I will ever consider it.

I believe they are part of the company that also exploits www.paypopup.com so in my opinion they can be trusted. However, it's what Jan said, do you want to apply such an intrusive pop-up, pop-in is actually a better word, to your website? $2.00 per 1000/cpm sounds attractive but have in mind that other companies are actually paying more for a regular pop-up (popuptraffic.com for example). One advantage, this company does NOT only pay for USA traffic, it also pays for other countries (allthough it's not as much as USA traffic) with the exception of known problem traffic like China.

You really have to think about it carefully. I used to use pop-ups from a different company: regular pop-ups but very intrusive: it cost me 25% of my traffic. Found out about it soon enough but I had to make big efforts to restore it. In my experience, visitors accept one pop-up ... they got used to it ... anything more intrusive will make them RUN ... run away as fast as they can :)

I find it very interesting that your user name that posted this is "yesupinc" which just happens to be the corporation that runs both paypopup and popinads.com according to the name printed on the checks I received from them =)

And what a coincidence, it is the same person who was promoting them in the above thread links. Thanks LilLep, I am surprised I didn't see the connection.
