Hello

Would you prefer if i removed those forums?
i personally dont think they are doing any Harm,
Freedom of speech isnt ilegal,
and if some members want to talk about such topics i
dont think it Harms anyone, if it does offend you maybe
you shouldnt view/read it?

Does anyone else think those particular forums should be removed?

Best Wishes

Deluxnetwork is the best host! and I have been hosted there for over 3 months. There has never been any downtime (at least not that I was aware of) or ever any problems. I would recommend this host to anyone! This is the fastest server that I have ever been on. There was one instance however that I had a problem with ftp permissions (i got an error while uploading my web page, permission denied or something) and I e-mailed the support department. I didnt expect to get a response right away (like other hosting companies) but I got a very friendly reply within that same hour! saying it was fixed and it was! I dont know much about computers and the internet and if there is a problem i can rely on their support department to fix it. Overall this is the best host i have ever been on!

I can't believe that you, as a host, would condone this type of activity  And to have a special forum for it is ludicrous.

Tell me, are people hosted with you, also allowed to upload warez? Seeing you consider it okay to have a special discussion section for it, one would be right in assuming they can upload it to their site also. :devious2:

There's a little image on the sign-up page that says NO WAREZ, any .zip .tar .tar.gz .bin .iso .exe etc files are autodeleted and the person may be banned. HOWEVER there is a crack/warez search engine hosted on their network it seems...:-X

Hmm...it doesn't harm any of us, but let me warn you, allowing such discussions is illegal by law, and you could get your servers confiscated. Freedom of speech doesn't not mean that you have the right to say whatever you want to say (and the definition has been further narrowed after the 9/11 attacks). For example, if I went on the streets and started screaming something about blowing up the White House, I would almost definitely be arrested. The term merely means that you can oppose the government's policies without fear of being prosecuted, but in the interests of national security and business, you don't have such rights.

umm,

then if deluxnetwork is `ilegal for having a search engine and open forums`
google.com altavista.com excite.com must all be ilegal aswell.
i could go to any one of them sites and locate warez using its tools.
does that make the site ilegal? do they have warez actually on there servers?

anyway to the point, if people actually complained about the forums i would remove them, but a majority of people requested them, people who want free services such as hosting i dont think you are in any position to complain about a free service offered to you, i am very open minded unlike another service, i will make changes and listen.

if anyone thinks i should remove something (forums/search engine etc)
please email: ryza@deluxnetwork.com and tell me why you think they should be removed,
if you have a good enough reason or enough people email i will remove it/them.
this isnt something one person can decide on because thousands of people use these services.

Best Wishes
