Auto responder

Does anyone have any script recommendations for an autoresponder? Something that will cite the info the user submitted and send a default message notifying the webmaster received their submission and will get back to them with an answer...
Would prefere perl, but if there's one in PHP, I could use that too.

I've searched CGI Resources, but didn't come up with a lead.
