When mods ban, before the last upgrade, they use to still appear to be a member until admin changed the their title to guest. Now they get a banned title when mods ban them.

I suggested to todd when a banned member did something to me *coughgccough* to make a banned member group instead of just moving them to un registered, he took the idea and that is when the 'banned' title was born!

yeah its a better idea to have a diffrent group, i dunno how you feel about hacks(mods)

but there is a small hack at vbulletin.org that makes it so banned members cant logout (unless they flush cookies)

on my forum i have hacks and i used a merger to upgrade to 2.2.6, quite easy

Okay, this was only implemented with the last upgrade (a few weeks ago), even Peo didn't know about it until I pointed it out :) The other changes were made a few months back ;)
