I think by co-hosting he/she means shared hosting and not a dedicated server.
http://rcthost.com in their special has most of what you offer, and you might be able to get what they don't for a price (own DNS??) but why do you need 1gig of space? That's an awful lot for a website methinks that's not hosting warez or movie/video files...
