Go ahead. Send me a new generation of recruits. Your bombs will fuel their hatred of America and their desire for revenge. Americans won’t be safe anywhere. Please, attack Iraq. Distract yourself from fighting Al Qaeda. Divide the international community. Go ahead. Destabilize the region. Maybe Pakistan will fall -- we want its nuclear weapons. Give Saddam a reason to strike first. He might draw Israel into a fight. Perfect! So please -- invade Iraq. Make my day.

er...i saw this in photography class...a section we did on propaganda. now, while i'm against invading iraq, and i think war in general is just wrong, ...that kind of poster just will not get the support of anyone but strong liberals. really. it'd just piss off conservatives or whatever, whoever's in support of invading. more likely it would start a bunch of ad wars like my district saw in the congressional race (remember Bush going to South Bend, Indiana TWICE to speak in support of Chris Chocola/against Jill Long Thompson? prob'ly not, but yeah, that's where i'm at) than gather any more anti-war sentiments.

that's just my opinion mixed with what friends' responses have been to that poster.

Just because they have many soldiers, doesn't mean they're good soldiers. The Romanian army isn't exactly a high-tech high-quality force. Dubya even said that all those additions to NATO wouldn't really improve the alliance's military strenght.
