just wnat to ask what domain is *.com.kg
as i know that *.kg is from country kyrgyzstan.
am i wrong?
and when i search http://www.britney.com.kg from internic it seems to be not registered?
is it free or?

Lookup *.*.kg domains using the WHOIS at http://www.domain.kg (remember to always type in the "www"!)

just checked up domain.kg.
its hard to believe that *.kg is free.
but maybe i am wrong.

He meant that *.com.kg, *.net.kg, *.org.kg and others are free. That's why he said *.*.kg.

i get domain from there but it didnt send me any mail or notification.or its redirect only to another account?
and what is server name1 and name 2?

The nameservers are the DNS host for your domain. If you have a domain host ready to go, you can enter their nameservers(should look something like ns1.domain.com, ns2.domain.com). If not, you can use hn.org, mydomain.com or zoneedit.com to redirect the domain to your site.

How long does it take for a domain to work. I have signed up - registered a domain; put in the mydomain name servers, signed upto my domain and set them to point to an IP. When should it resolve?

It depends. Some people get it resolved within a week. Mine took more than 2 weeks.

You don't get sent any notifications after you've registered a *.*.kg domain. No, it's not a "redirect" as you call it. It acts as a domain. It is a domain! It's how you use it.... you can use it as a redirect to your current site, or you can try to find a host that hosts domains and point your domain to the host.

way to go lex i have passed the 400, but yeah i guess .com.xx are hot because they look like real domains yet are free.
