make a batch file to copy the connection settings over to ie4 as there is no import/export options.

internet explorer and the dial up connections are 2 different things.

i'll try to be a little clearer.

i want to make a batch file that will change the connection settings in ie4 so that it runs off a specific proxy through a network. i don't really care about the other settings

You should be able to set this manually through the VIEW > INTERNET OPTIONS > CONNECTIONS tab. You just need to know the ip address and port of your proxy server.

the manual method is probably faster than writing a bat file
