What site should i make

I want to make a site but don't know what to make it about..

What sites do you guys go on most ???


and remember the main purpose is to make money from that site !!!!!!!!

Well, gee good luck making money on a site in this day & age of the internet. I would suggest you do a site as a hobby or for fun, if you are just trying to make some dinero you'll waste a lot of time.

Make a site on something you know about so that it will actually have meaningfull content and people will visit.

I've mostly made sites related to pro wrestling, internet, entertainment, and myself.

I'd say a fanpage for your favourite band. They get lots of visitors if the band is popular. To make money, just ad some pop up traffics, a Link that says "Click here" that goes to clickheretofind.com, and a search box from search traffic.

Or, if you want to make money, make a fake pokemon site, then do the same thing, but only have an "Enter" link on the page, and the popups, and the search box. The best thing is that it's all legal.

But don't expect to make loads of moola off of any site. My philiosophy(sp?) is if you don't spend any money making it, it's no loss when you don't make any money off of it. Unless if you count time is money, then I'd be a few grand in the hole...

Like the guys up there previously suggested, make a fans site. Or you can have a site that has a lot of interesting content, links, and images that'll keep visitors coming back for more.

Just use your website creation experience as experience to obtain new skills. If you learn enough and become good at it, you can make money as a professional webdesigner and/or programmer

It takes many years of experience for that, and good advertising skills.

Having a site that gets many visitors is not all about content. you could just promote promote promote and scam your way to the top. You would have tons of visitors but they would maybe only stay for a few minutes. if that.
If you want visitors to stay have a friendly atmosphere and some decent content. here is an example of that. http://www.mauisun.org . the design kinda sucks but look at how many members are in the message boards.

I find that popular bands and cartoon characters have some of the most visited sites on the internet.
