Hey

I just thinked of somehting.

Lets say I become an affilita of DotSter.com

thier domains cost 15 $

If I put an add of them on my site, I get like 25% of the sale,

So, what If I ordered from my site?

15-4=11$

Or even better, what If I find an affiliate program of GKG.net or any other "below 10 bucks" registars.

Will this be considered cheating or is it legal to do it?

Ya, that would be cheating(for 4 bucks). I's say if you aren't sure whether it's allowed, it probably isn't.

gkg.net is offering affiliate, too!
The only problem is, you need to register a domain with them first. So your idea would not work.
BUT if you got more domains, it would work. And its not cheating, if it isn't forbidden in the rules!

http://www.gkg.net/domain/alliances/affiliate.html

Why would you want to register at a more expensive registar?
Use a cheap one, then you are better off, without any trick!

like gkg.net (are great) or godaddy (no idea, if they are good)

I doubt clicking on your own link is cheating.

It shouldn't be illegal. Why would it matter? They're willing to pay you if someone else gets a domain from your link why shouldn't you be able to...

that isn't cheating cuz your selling something and you sold something to your self....as long as it doesn't say in the rules then you should be ok!
and if it does then maybe i can setup a link and you can buy from there ;)

Most (if not all) registrars won't get upset if you click you own link. You might be saving $4, but they're still getting $11 out of you, that might have gone to another registrar. In fact I'm pretty sure they'd encourage you to click that link as often as you can to sign up as many domains as possible. Even after the reduction in price they're still making money out of the deal...
