Hostgroup1 is what used to be Chitie. Their service was crappy for more than 2 months especially during the name change of the company. They did not inform the customers of any 'maintenance' or anything and the websites just started disappearing for very long periods.
Failing to resolve servers, emails were timed out and lost. Who knows how much damage each client was inflicted.
The boasted online support was never available during these times, and if you were lucky enough to get some response, it was always a defensive 'everything is alright now' answer... even if it wasnt. And btw, Webmail is still not working.
After being forced to change to another webhost due to the excessive down time, I was denied a refund of the remaining months I had not used in my subscribtion that I had to abandon due to the crappy service.
