Traffic is only one measurement of a site's appeal to advertisers.

That said, some of those CPM networks that should accept sites with that level of traffic follow:

1. Advertising.com (some CPM)
2. FastClick
3. Burst! Media
4. Sonar
5. Luna
6. Ad-Up
7. AmazingMedia
8. FocusIN
9. IBN (if still alive)
10. ClearBlueMedia (seem to only run popunders these days)
11. Zonfire

I knew that would ruffle your feathers...;)

Still, Dodzzz wanted us to show him/her "everything".

I did exlude Bullex, though, and probably should have excluded IBN and Supermoo's friends ;), but there's plenty of information about these companies roaming around for those who care to do their research.

lol, true, true... although I always thought paying pop-ups would be higher than dead programs... just my thoughts. :)

Ya, ya. I wasn't attempting to rank them in order of quality - just a plain list. Then again, the list is close to accurate in qualitiative terms. Funny how that happens. :)

Some more CPM pop* programs (for interest):
1. PopupTraffic
2. GoClick
3. PopupSponsor
4. AllClicks Exit
5. ExitFuel

A couple of other mid-size CPM banner programs that slipped my mind:
12. BlueFishNetwork
13. TribalFusion
14. ClickAgents (used to serve some CPM campaigns alongside CPC. I'm not sure about whether or not this remains the case)
15. CashSnap (CPM service launching April)

Don't worry, 90% of them would reject any entertainment-related site while the market is this low. You shouldn't see this as an indictment of your site's quality.

In fact, you may find that you generate greater returns from CPC and CPA advertisers at the moment.

Best of luck with your other applications, though. :)

thanks thanks Czar.
I thought they were lying about the low entertainment advertisers available..
so you mean that if I apply my site a year ago, my site would've been approved?

thank you!

Very likely. The tech slide started on April 3rd, 2000. Before that, everything was rosy online. Ad networks were desperate for inventory, and publishers were earning in the range of $1.5-$4 Net CPM for run-of-network buys.

Of course, it's a whole different world online these days.

Yeah, at one point I was getting about $1.50CPM+ from About, now I would be happy with $0.50CPM for my entire inventory, and thrilled with $1CPM. :)

Edit: Just to make it clear, I was one of the ones that got kicked out of About's banner program, they are not paying me low CPMs now. ;)

amazingmedia.com Is One Of the Best Choices You Would Get For Ur Site

They Dont Have A High Payout But A Ressonable One.They Are One Of Few networks Who Does pay......But 2-3 MOnths Delay Is Normal

I Have Recived 4 cHeques In Total After Cancelation Of My Account

Feel Lucky If They Accept U Now In These Market Conditions

Lets face it the Internet is not the Advertising haven it once was.

Maybe a year ago advertisers would pay you for $1.50 CPM but now it just not practical or wise.

Advertisers want results not promises. So you better of joining an affiliate program where they offer "pay per lead" or "pay per sale."

Well that's my opinion.

the only reason CPM doesn't work:
publishers don't care about results.

I mean, come on, it's true...

Some of the publishers put CPM deals on some hidden spot on their page. Others just put it somewhere annoying where visitors don't even look at it. Even other publishers just don't have quality traffic... Yet other publishers just cheat on it (usually placing multiple banners on the same page).

Unless a publisher gets paid for results, he'll usually end up caring very little for whatever the results are...

Agreed. Despite it being fact that the online advertising industry is presently experiencing a cyclical slump, cheating and a lack of respect for advertisers is also a major contributing factor to the lull in support for small-medium sites.

If publishers would all treat advertisers as the valuable partners that they are, and provide them with good placement, while stopping deliberately fraudulent practices aimed at artificially-inflating their impressions and/or clicks, the tone of the industry would be far more positive right now.

that's kinda asking for the impossible... all publishers... There's a few pulling it off that just are greedy. Others see their success so they join in... Next thing you know 20% of the publishers are doing it and the adbiz is going down.

Same in real life... Don't you ever wonder why home and car salespersons are earning percentages instead of a solid rate/hour?

I know it's an unrealistic ask. We are all aware that there is a signiifcant contingent of the online popularion who consider themselved to be 'professional' cheats.

I'm suggesting simply that things would be brighter right now for those of us who are playing the game legitimately if our rates weren't being undercut by advertisers having to factor a 'cheating allowance' into their prices.

That's why CPA and CPS are increasingly domainating the market, depite the fact that both advertisers and publishers can see the value in the CPC and CPM payment structure.

yeah. btw I already sick about this banner thingy.

I think I'm gonna sell my own goodies instead of joining networks that only pays me 10% of their profit.
