I never used them, nor could I find anything good or bad about them, however I did note a few things you might want to consider:

Registration date of their domain:

Creation date: 2002-10-23 00:00:00

Registrant Info:

, -
US
Administrative, Billing and Technical info are all the same as well. No name, no address, no state, no email address. Strictly speaking they're in violation with the .com registration TOS. Since it's a company there shouldn't be any reason why they feel the need to hide their location, phone and email.

$9.95/month for 15Gb (20Gb as the special) of traffic is rather cheap in my opinion but that doesn't necessarily mean anything though.

Besides the "contact me" form I couldn't find a single other way of contacting them from their site.

If you do go ahead and order with them I would suggest to not pay yearly but monthly. The 2 months free aren't worth the possible headache of how you're going to get your money back if they fail or if they don't meet your expectations. Also their TOS doesn't state anything about how they handle refunds so it's not even sure you would get anything back at all if you decide to cancel before your year is up.

what are you looking for in your hosting package?
as long as you have reasonable requirements and willing to spend around $9.95/month I'm sure a few people here can give recommendations on fairly established hosts along with their personal experience with them

As a rule of the thumb, never go with a host under 6 months old, in my opinions. Go with one thats been around for a while and look professional.

I certainly wouldn't trust a host that left all the registrant details blank  At least some shonky ones make an attempt, even if is false info, but to have none at all is just plain stupidity.

Carebear really rakes them over the coals and could probably provide a good service with this alone. :D

Hosting is exploding right now...usually resellers. Of course, most are going to be made after July of 2002. Nobody will ever know unless we try them. One good method for searching for hosts is @ hostsearch.com where they recommend you send them an email to see if they return it. This gives you an inkling about their support. If you're interested in this or that host, a little research goes a long way. :D

Maybe good I didn't find out about these forums and WHT until after I was with one already. Some of the "horror" stories really are awful.

When I went paid I started out with maybe about 15 of them and sifted through them one by one. I ended up with one I eventually thought was trustworthy and still got burnt.
My second host now is about as good as I'd want one to be. They care about their customers (or do a great job pretending :)) and fits right in with my budget.
