......does freewebspace.net use to list all the hosts and let people search them and let people submit new hosts ect....

I'm making a austrailian paid hosting site

I was planning to make a hosting site (I live in Aus too)

But dedicated servers are around $220AU a month, and theres no point reselling. With the weak dollar it's even worse.

Anyway i don't know maybe a custom script. You might wanna ask Peo or chicken.

What programming lang. are you using PERL? PHP? ASP?

Well you could eaisly write one in php and use mysql to store the data.

have you looked at http://www.php.net they have links to various php projects there may be something

best bet is to learn some php or find someone who knows such things

how are you going to setup/maintain the server if you can't code? apache config files are hell
